Darjeeling
Darjeeling, a former British hill station is also known as the Queen of the Himalayas’. Built on a narrow ridge jutting out into the Teesta basin, it looks across a wide expanse, to Himalayan peaks which stretch along the northern horizon. The tea gardens and the toy train just add to the whole atmosphere of the area. |
