Ladakh is popularly known as Little Tibet, Ladakh literally means the land of high passes. One of the driest areas in the Himalayas the landscape is totally lunar and is dotted with monasteries and the monks. |

Zanskar Valley the remotest of the Himalayan valleys, this 300km valley is locked between the Great Himalayan Range and the Zanskar Range. Access to the valley can be gained only by crossing the high passes or walking the frozen river in the winters. It’s one of the world’s highest inhabited regions. |

Rupshu This high altitude plateau is in the south east of Ladakh and extends into Tibet. The landscape is characterized by vast plains, rolling mountains and blue brackish lakes. |
